2nd Module (5 Months)

This is where we start warming up to more intense lessons and concepts. We start understanding and appreciating music at a different level altogether.
Average time taken by students to complete this module is 6-9 months.
3rd Module(7 Months)
Covers Advanced Concepts / Advanced Scales and Chords
The fun intensifies. As a serious music student we start achieving greater heights and develop the heart to master the nuances of music that make us a genuine musician. Rock & Pop Beginners Grade 0-3rd
4th Module (Varies)
This is an Advanced Course in Reading of Music / Analyzing and playing Popular Rock / Pop music / MelBay Books / Rock & Pop Syllabus Grade 4th – 8th
Students have this far developed a very strong foundation and are ready for flying high in the skies of beautiful music.
Advanced Guitar Sessions:
towards intense practice. Students should expect a very intense program which will help them grow and attain mastery
Time taken to complete the Modules :
Completion of Modules depends on the practice / effort of an individual student. As a sincere student of music one can hope to have a very fruitful learning experience where they accomplish more than they had ever imagined based on hard work and determination.
It is very important to:
1. Listen to diverse music.
2. Sing and develop a very strong ear for music.
3. Perform at every opportunity.
4. Take guidance from coach and practice regularly.
5. Maintain a journal and chart your progress.
Practice is An Integral part of your Guitar Learning.
If you intend to learn Guitar Playing or for that matter any musical instrument or vocal technique you need to put in Dedicated Daily Practice!
While most new students express that they desire only to be hobbyists please understand that the gone are the times of being able to play only couple of songs. In today’s times Guitarists are expected to proficiently play music from different genres of Music. Also performance standards have gone up and being mediocre is just not cool. We could just easily have a friend or an acquaintance who is just a hobbyist but plays the Guitar Oh, so brilliantly that we are tempted to compliment them that they should be into it full time!
Please understand that it takes a lot of focus on fundamentals, concepts, lessons and theory accompanied with daily practice to become a complete Guitarist!
Guitars for your First Class:
When you call and come for a Class One, PGA shall make sure that we have a Acoustic Guitar for you.
As regards investing in a guitar, please check the PGA Music Store Link on this site. All Guitar students should strictly start off with only Acoustic Guitars and never the Electric for proper development of technique as a Guitar Player!
PGA suggests students get quality instruments which ensure a good learning experience. Advanced students can discuss with Tutors after Class-hours on Premium Instruments available.
Electric Guitars should be purchased only after 1-2 years of playing.
